Effective 2026-06-18. This explains what ColorChi collects, why, and your choices. We keep it short and plain.
What we collect
• The profile you enter: name or nickname, birth date (and optional birth time/place), gender, Day Master, and style preference.
• Your activity in the app: daily check-ins, streak, and how many days you've used it.
• If you sign in with Google: your email, name, and profile photo.
• Approximate location: we read your IP to fetch your local weather. This is used live and not stored.
• Photos: if you add an outfit photo to a share card, it is used on your device to build the image and shared only when you choose to — we do not upload it.
• We do NOT collect or store your payment card details — payments are handled by Apple's In-App Purchase (via RevenueCat) on iOS, or by Stripe on the web.
Using ColorChi without signing in
Even if you don't sign in, the profile you enter (name, birth date) is saved to our service under an anonymous ID, so your data syncs and we can see how many people use ColorChi. Signing in with Google later simply links that data to your email.
How we use it
To generate your daily color, outfit and reading, to sync your data across devices, to understand how many people use the app, and to improve it. We don't sell your data.
Where it's stored & who can see it
Your data is stored with Supabase (our cloud backend) with access controls. Only the ColorChi team (admin) can view account data for operating the service. Other users cannot see your information.
Third-party services
We rely on: Google (sign-in), Supabase (database & auth), Apple In-App Purchase + RevenueCat and Stripe (payments), Vercel (hosting), and ipapi.co + Open-Meteo (weather). Each handles data under its own privacy policy.
Your choices
You can view and update your profile in the app at any time. To delete your data or account, sign out, or contact us and we'll remove it.
Children
ColorChi isn't directed to children under 13 (or under 16 where required). Please don't use it if you're under that age.
Changes
We may update this policy; we'll change the effective date above when we do.
